Description
The HMC546MS8GE is an electronic component model in the RF Switches product category. It is a 4-bit digital phase shifter die that operates in the frequency range of 8 to 12 GHz. This phase shifter provides a phase coverage of 0 to 360 degrees with a least significant bit (LSB) of 22.5 degrees. It features a very low root mean square (RMS) phase error of 5 degrees and an extremely low insertion loss variation of ±0.8 dB across all phase states. The HMC546MS8GE can be controlled with complementary logic of 0/-3V and does not require a fixed bias voltage. It is internally matched to 50 Ohms without the need for external components. Simple external level shifting circuitry can be used to convert a positive complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) control voltage into negative control signals.
