Description
The VP485 is a half-duplex transceiver designed for RS 485 data bus networks. It is fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-485A standard and can transmit data up to 10 Mbps over long twisted-pair cables. The transceiver operates with very low supply current, typically less than 2 mA, and has an inactive shutdown mode with a supply current below 1 mA.
