Description
The LTC1296CIN#PBF is a member of the LTC1293/4/6 family of data acquisition systems that feature a serial I/O successive approximation A/D converter. It is a highly integrated device that can be programmed to perform 12-bit unipolar or 11-bit plus sign bipolar A/D conversions. The input multiplexer can be configured for single ended or differential inputs. The LTC1296CIN#PBF also has an on-chip sample and hold and can be powered down when not in use. There is also a System Shutdown Output pin that can power down external circuitry, such as signal conditioning circuitry prior to the input mux.
