Description
The MCP2210-I/SS is a USB-to-SPI Master Converter with GPIO (master mode), designed for applications that require USB connectivity and have an SPI interface. It reduces the need for external components by integrating USB termination resistors. Additionally, it comes with a 256-byte integrated user EEPROM. The MCP2210 features nine general-purpose input/output pins, with seven of them having alternate functions to indicate USB and communication status. After a power-on reset (POR), the device enumerates as a Human Interface Device (HID) and can be configured and controlled accordingly.

- Bus powered (factory default) or self-powered (can be selected through special USB commands)
- USB 2.0 compliant
- 128-byte buffer for data throughput (64-byte transmit, 64-byte receive)
- Uses standard HID drivers with built-in support on Windows® XP, Vista, 7, Linux, and Mac OS®
