The APL5920KAI-TRG is a micropower, low noise, low dropout linear regulator designed for use in battery-powered systems.
Specifications and Features
- Input voltage range: 2.7V to 6V
- Output voltage range: 1.3V to 3.4V
- Maximum output current: 900mA
- Output noise: 50mVRMS (100Hz to 100kHz) with 0.1mF bypass capacitor in BP pin
- Dropout voltage: 210mV at 900mA loading
- Quiescent current: 50mA (no load)
- Shutdown current: less than 1mA
- Output capacitor compatibility: stable with 4.7mF output capacitor made of aluminum, tantalum, or ceramic
- Protection features: reverse current protection, built-in thermal protection, built-in current limit protection, and controlled short circuit current of 200mA
- Packages Available: SOT-89, SOT-89-5, SOT-223, SO-8, TO-252 and TO-252-5
- Lead-free option is available and RoHS compliant
