Description
The SG0835 is an electronic component model in the IC Chips product category. It is available in flat frame and bracketed PC mounting types. The over-center actuator block and plunger design provide crisp actuation with clear indication of circuit status. This design also diminishes sparking and increases operating life. The guide interlocked with the actuator block prevents window locking and maintains correct plunger alignment for contact stability. The SG0835 features an anti-jamming design to protect contacts from damage due to excessive downward force on the actuator. It also has high internal barriers between poles and an insulating sheet between the case and actuator block for added protection. The contacts are made of a specially composed silver alloy for power applications or gold contacts for logic level applications, ensuring high contact reliability. The SG0835 has prominent external insulating barriers that increase insulation resistance and dielectric strength. The terminals are epoxy sealed to prevent entry of flux, solvents, and other contaminants. The frame is clinched to the case well above the base and terminals, providing a 1,500V dielectric strength.
