Description
The DS4560A is a low-power infrared transceiver module compliant with the IrDA 1.2 standard for serial infrared data communication. It supports IrDA speeds of up to 115.2 kbit/s. The module integrates a photo PIN diode, infrared emitter (IRED), and a low-power analog control IC in a single package, providing a complete front-end solution.

- BabyFace (Universal) package capable of surface mount solderability to side and top-view orientation
- Directly interfaces with various Super I/O and controller devices and TEMIC's TOIM3000 and TOIM3232 I/Os
- Few external components required
- Backward compatible with all TEMIC SIR infrared transceivers
