Description
The MC9S12GC96MFAE is a member of the MC9S12C-Family / MC9S12GC-Family, which are cost and space sensitive 16-bit Flash-based MCU families that are suitable for general purpose industrial and automotive network applications. It features a 16-bit central processing unit (CPU12), up to 128K bytes of Flash EEPROM, up to 4K bytes of RAM, standard on-chip peripherals, and several other features.

- Wake-up interrupt inputs with digital filtering
- 32MHz operating frequency, or 50MHz for 9S12C Family
- Internal 2.5V regulator with low power mode capability, low voltage reset (LVR) circuitry, and low voltage interrupt (LVI) circuitry
- 48-pin LQFP, 52-pin LQFP, or 80-pin QFP package, up to 58 I/O lines with 5V input and drive capability (80-pin package), up to 2 dedicated 5V input only lines
- Development support with Single-wire background debug™ mode (BDM), on-chip hardware breakpoints, and enhanced DBG12 debug features
