Description
The LM2842YMKX-ADJ is a PWM DC/DC buck (step-down) regulator manufactured by National-Semiconductor. It has a wide input range of 4.5V-42V and is suitable for power conditioning from unregulated sources. With a low RDSON of 0.9Ω, it offers maximum efficiency of 85%. The operating frequency can be either 550 kHz or 1.25 MHz, depending on the specific version, allowing for low output voltage ripple. The LM2842YMKX-ADJ also features soft-start circuitry, thermal shutdown, VIN under-voltage lockout, and gate drive under-voltage lockout. This regulator is available in a low-profile TSOT-6L package.
