Electronic Component Model: 1QM7-0003 is a Quad Port Bypass Circuit (PBC) that supports ANSI X3T11 1.0625 Gbit/sec FC-AL Disk Attach for Resiliency. It is designed with fully differential technology to minimize jitter accumulation. The PBC integrates four Fibre Channel PBC's into a single package, reducing part count and cost. It operates on a 3.3V power supply with a typical power dissipation of 0.5W. The package size is 44-Pin, 10mm PQFP.
The VSC7121 PBC is used in the Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) architectures to provide resiliency in FC-AL disk arrays. It enables hot swapping of FC-AL drives and ensures high speed, PECL I/O's referenced to VDD.
