The SP3223EBCY is an RS-232 transceiver designed for portable or hand-held applications such as notebook and palmtop computers. It features an internal high-efficiency charge-pump power supply, requiring only 0.1µF capacitors in 3.3V operation. This transceiver complies with true EIA/TIA-232-F standards and can operate within a power supply range of +3.0V to +5.5V.
