Description
The UZZ9002 is an integrated circuit designed to combine two sinusoidal signals (sin and cos) into one linear output signal. It is commonly used for signal conditioning in angle measurement applications, particularly with magnetoresistive sensors. This IC provides a linear output characteristic for angles up to 360°, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including resolver applications. The input signals are converted into the digital domain using a CORDIC algorithm for arctan transformation and then transferred back to the analog domain as a ratiometric output signal. The angle range to be measured and the zero point can be easily set using an external voltage divider.
