    The SC1565IS-1.8TR is a linear voltage regulator with a dropout voltage of only 350mV @ 1.5A. It is designed for use in various applications including battery-powered systems, motherboards, peripheral cards, network cards, set-top boxes, medical equipment, and notebook computers. This regulator provides an excellent output voltage regulation even under variations in line, load, and temperature conditions. The device is available in various packages such as SO-8, 3-lead SOT-223, 3 and 5-lead TO-220, and 3 and 5-lead TO-263 packages.

    Specifications and features

    The SC1565IS-1.8TR features a low reverse leakage (output to input), full industrial temperature range, and overcurrent and overtemperature protection. It also has an enable pin and 10µA quiescent current during shutdown. The regulator is adjustable with an output from 1.2V to 4.8V and has 2.5V and 1.8V options available (which can be adjusted externally using resistors). The SO-8, TO-220-5, and TO-263-5 packages have internally preset output voltages of 1.8V and 2.5V.
