The HMC208MS8G is an ultra miniature double-balanced mixer in an 8-lead plastic surface mount Mini Small Outline Package (MSOP). This passive MMIC mixer is constructed of GaAs Schottky diodes and novel planar transformer baluns on the chip. It can operate within the frequency range of 0.7 - 2.0 GHz and is especially suitable for 900, 1500, or 1900 MHz applications. The device can be used as an upconverter, downconverter, bi-phase modulator or demodulator, and phase comparator. Its high dynamic input signal range and small size make it ideal for miniature basestations, PCMCIA transceivers, cable modems, and portable wireless applications. Additionally, it requires no DC bias, adding to its versatility and practicality.Specifications and features
