Description
The LT4256-2IS8#TRPBF is a hot swap controller for server and telecom applications that provides superior 12V SIMPLISAFE turn-on performance with under-voltage lockout. It is capable of providing a safe Hot Swap controller for an array of applications. The LT4256-2IS8#TRPBF also features the ability to provide an external voltage sense resistor that is able to detect a drop in voltage, allowing for further protection of the device. It achieves overcurrent protection by monitoring the voltage drop across the sense resistor, which is capable of protecting the devices connected to it from damage caused by voltage spikes.
