Description
This is a TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPRESSOR (TVS) array, model SMDA03-G, designed to provide protection to 6 unidirectional data or interface lines. It is packaged in an SO-8 configuration and is suitable for application-level protection against voltage transients caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT) per IEC 1000-4-4, and secondary lighting effects. With a peak power rating of 300 watts for an 8/20msec pulse, this TVS array is ideal for protecting sensitive circuitry such as TTL, CMOS DRAM’s, SRAM’s, HCMOS, HSIC microprocessors, and I/O transceivers. The SMDAXX-6 product offers protection against static electricity and induced voltage surges that can potentially damage sensitive circuitry.
