Description
The A29040AL-70 is a 5.0 volt-only flash memory component that has a capacity of 524,288 bytes. It is organized into eight sectors of 64 Kbytes each, allowing for flexible sector erase capability. The device is available in three package options: 32-pin PLCC, TSOP, and PDIP. It can be programmed in-system with a standard 5.0 volt VCC supply, and does not require an additional 12.0 volt VPP for write or erase operations. However, it can also be programmed using standard EPROM programmers.

- 20-year data retention at 125°C: Reliable operation for the life of the system

- Pinout and software compatible with single-power supply Flash memory standard
- Superior inadvertent write protection
- Data Polling and toggle bits:
- Provides a software method of detecting completion of program or erase operations
- Erase Suspend/Erase Resume:
- Suspends a sector erase operation to read data from, or program data to, a non-erasing sector, then resumes the erase operation
- Package options: 32-pin P-DIP, PLCC, or TSOP (Forward type)
