Description
The 28SF040A120-4C-NH is a 512K x8 bit CMOS Sector Erase, Byte-Program EEPROM. It is manufactured using SST's proprietary high-performance CMOS SuperFlash EEPROM Technology. The split-gate cell design and thick-oxide tunneling injector contribute to its reliability and manufacturability. This model features a single power supply and conforms to JEDEC standard pinouts for byte-wide memories. It is also compatible with existing industry standard flash EEPROM pinouts. With high-performance programming, it typically byte-programs in 35 µs and sector-erases in 2 ms. It has on-chip hardware and software data protection schemes to prevent inadvertent writes. The 28SF040A120-4C-NH is designed, manufactured, and tested for a wide range of applications and has a guaranteed sector endurance of 10,000 cycles and a data retention rating of over 100 years.
