Description
The LTC3555EUFD#PBF is a highly integrated power management and battery charger IC designed for Li-Ion/Polymer batteries. It features a high-efficiency current limited switching PowerPath manager with automatic load prioritization, a battery charger, an ideal diode, and three general-purpose synchronous step-down switching regulators that deliver up to 1A of continuous output current for powering down from battery operation. Unlike the traditional linear chargers, the LTC3555EUFD#PBF utilizes switching architecture which transmits almost all of the power available from the USB port resulting in minimal loss and heat in small spaces.
