Description
The AD8332ARUZ-R7 is a single channel ultralow noise, linear-in-dB, variable gain amplifier (VGA). It is optimized for ultrasound systems and can be used as a low noise variable gain element at frequencies up to 100 MHz. The amplifier consists of an ultralow noise preamplifier (LNA), an X-AMP® VGA with a gain range of 48 dB, and a selectable gain postamplifier with adjustable output limiting. The LNA has a 19 dB gain with a single-ended input and differential outputs. The input impedance of the LNA can be adjusted to match a signal source without compromising noise performance.
