The ADM233LANZ is a line driver/receiver component designed for EIA-232-E and V.28 communications interfaces. It is especially suitable for applications where a 12 V power supply is not available. The ADM233LANZ is part of the ADM2xx family of line drivers/receivers and offers low power shutdown mode for reduced power dissipation. It is a single 5 V power supply component that meets all EIA-232-E and V.28 specifications. It has a data rate of 120 kbps and features on-board dc-to-dc converters for ±9 V output swing with a 5 V supply. The ADM233LANZ requires no external components, making it ideal for applications with limited printed circuit board space.
