  • Description

    The MAX232EJE is a member of the MAX220–MAX249 family of line drivers/receivers. It is designed for EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communications interfaces, especially in applications where ±12V is not available. These components are particularly useful in battery-powered systems due to their low-power shutdown mode that reduces power dissipation to less than 5µW. The MAX225, MAX233, MAX235, and MAX245/MAX246/MAX247 models do not require external components, making them ideal for applications with limited printed circuit board space.
