The QFEM-7782-TR1 is an IC Chip belonging to the S-8233A Series. These are lithium-ion rechargeable battery protection ICs that come with highly accurate voltage detection circuits and delay circuits. They are designed to suit 3-serial-cell lithium-ion battery packs.
Specifications and features
The S-8233A series has an internal high-accuracy voltage detection circuit that enables overcharge detection voltage, overcharge release voltage, over-discharge detection voltage, and over-discharge release voltage. The over current detection voltage ranges from 0.15 ±0.015 V to 0.5 ±0.05 V 50 mV-step, and it has three over current detection levels for short-circuiting protection. The device also has a wide operating voltage range of 2 V to 24 V and low current consumption. It can operate at a maximum of 50 µA (+25 °C) and a power-down of 0.1 µA max. (+25 °C). The delay time for every detection can be set using an external capacitor, and it has an internal charge/discharge prohibition circuit via the control terminal.
