Description
The ZR36060PQCG is an integrated JPEG codec designed for video capture and editing applications in desktop and laptop computers. It is a single-chip processor that combines all the necessary modules for JPEG encoding and decoding. The codec supports motion video compression and expansion, with capabilities of up to 25 frames per second for CCIR PAL and up to 30 frames per second for CCIR NTSC. It offers three modes of Bit Rate Control (BRC) for different compression scenarios. The ZR36060PQCG has a glueless interface to common video decoders and multimedia controllers, making it easy to integrate into various systems. It supports both 8 and 16-bit YUV video interfaces and can interface with a variety of host controllers, from high-performance PCI controllers to low-cost microcontrollers. The codec also features on-chip video processing capabilities, such as mixing of video sources, up and down scaling, and cropping. It operates on a 3.3V power supply with low power consumption.
