The HMC489LP5 is an electronic component model in the IC Chips category. It is a sub-harmonically pumped (x2) MMIC image rejection mixer with an integrated LO amplifier. The chip is designed using GaAs PHEMT technology, resulting in a small overall chip area of 2.31mm2. It features an on-chip 90° hybrid that provides excellent amplitude and phase balance, allowing for greater than 22 dB of image rejection. The LO amplifier is a single bias (+4V) two-stage design, requiring only +2 dBm nominal drive.
