Description
The 87023-650 is a Block Mode Time Slot Allocation Circuit (SA8702/BMTSAC) used to generate 8 consecutive timeslots in a 32 timeslot PCM system. Each timeslot pulse is 8 BCLK cycles long, where BCLK is the 2,048 station clock provided by the system. It has an active MRST that disables all outputs until a valid XSYNC input is recognized. The output TSX is delayed by half a cycle and indicates the currently active timeslot. The device offers 4 modes of operation, which can be selected through the BL0 and BL1 pins.
