The RDA8207B is a CMOS single-chip fully-integrated transceiver, which supports multiple XTAL clocks. It has a fully integrated frequency synthesizer and VCO and can support the worldwide frequency band. The transceiver covers 134MHz to 174MHz and 400MHz to 500MHz and is compatible with 12.5KHz, 25KHz channels. The RDA8207B has a powerful digital signal processor that makes for optimum voice quality, stronger performance under varying reception conditions, and flexible function options. It features digital auto frequency control (AFC), digital auto gain control (AGC), selectable pre/de-emphasis, received signal strength indicator (RSSI), VOX and SQ, and a build-in CTCSS/CDCSS generator and judgment (CTCSS with 120/180/240-degree phase shift and 23/24 bit programmable DCS code). In addition, the transceiver also supports DTMF and programmable in-band dual tone and in-band single tone transmitter. It also provides auto RX/TX/SLEEP state switching, 8 GPIOs, 3-wire/4-wire/ I2C serial control bus interface, and directly supports 32Ω resistance loading. The RDA8207B requires a supply voltage of 3.3 to 4.8v and comes in a 5X5mm 32 pin QFN package.
