** LTC1421IG Description **
The LTC1421IG series of hot-swap controllers allow for the safe insertion and removal of a board from a live backplane. The board supply voltages can be ramped up at a programmable rate using external N-channel pass transistors. The N-channel gates are controlled by two high-side switch drivers for supply voltages ranging from 3V to 12V.
