    The SST28SF040-90-4C-NH is a CMOS Sector Erase, Byte-Program EEPROM with a memory capacity of 512K x 8 bits. It is manufactured using SST's proprietary SuperFlash EEPROM Technology, which provides enhanced reliability and manufacturability compared to alternative approaches. This model features single power supply operation and conforms to JEDEC standard pinouts for byte-wide memories, making it compatible with existing industry standard flash EEPROM pinouts. With high performance programming, the SST28SF040-90-4C-NH typically Byte-Programs in 35 µs and Sector-Erases in 2 ms. It also has on-chip hardware and software data protection schemes to prevent inadvertent writes. Tested for a wide range of applications, this model guarantees a sector endurance of 10,000 cycles and data retention greater than 100 years.
