Description
The W83194BR-655 is a Clock Synthesizer designed specifically for Intel Springdale/Prescott chipset. It provides all the necessary clocks for high-speed microprocessors with step-less frequency programming and 32 different frequencies settings for CPU, PCI, and 3V66 clocks. The W83194BR-655 also supports SRC clock outputs and allows smooth transitions between different clock selections. Additionally, it features an I2C serial bus interface for easy programmability and control of clock outputs. It also offers spread spectrum and programmable S.S.T. scale to reduce electromagnetic interference. The W83194BR-655 includes a watchdog timer and a reset output pin to support auto-reset in case of system hanging due to improper frequency setting. It operates on a 3.3V supply and accepts a 14.318 MHz reference crystal as its input signal.
