This is a Power Wirewound Resistor model, namely R7181-38, which falls under the category of IC chips. This resistor comes in two types of elements, wire or power oxide film. It has a ceramic core and case with an inorganic silica filler which makes it entirely fireproof. R7181-38 resistor has high insulation resistance, excellent TCR and low surface temperature.
