Description
The 243SQ01 is a 12-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) integrated circuit. It includes an output amplifier, a Zener voltage reference, and operates on a monolithic CMOS chip. The AD7243 does not require any external trims to achieve its full specified performance. With single supply operation, the output voltage ranges from 0 V to +5 V or 0 V to +10 V. The AD7243 also offers a bipolar ±5 V output range with dual supplies, and the range can be selected using the internal gain resistor. It supports natural binary data format in the unipolar ranges and offers the option to select offset binary or two's complement format in the bipolar range. The AD7243 includes a CLR function that sets the output to 0 V in the unipolar ranges and in the two's complement bipolar range, or to –REFIN in the offset binary data format.
