The 74F194D is a high-speed 4-bit bidirectional universal shift register. It is a multifunctional sequential building block used in various applications.
The 74F194D can perform serial-serial, shift left, shift right, serial-parallel, parallel-serial, and parallel-parallel data register transfers. It is similar to the S195 universal shift register but with additional features such as shift left without external connections and a hold mode of operation.
