Description

The AK8817VG is a digital video encoder specifically designed for portable and mobile applications. It encodes Y, Cb, and Cr signals, which are compatible with ITU-R BT.601 standards, into either NTSC or PAL compatible composite video signals. The interface allows for synchronized slave-mode operation or ITU-R.Bt656. The AK8817VG also features a 75ohm driver with a LPF. It has the capability to encode VBID (CGMS-A) and WSS signals on the output video signal. The host control interface uses I2C Bus I/F.
