Description
The TRS232EI is a high-performance module designed for bi-directional serial optical data communications. It operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm and is compatible with SONET OC-3/SDH STM-1 and Fast Ethernet. This module is designed for single mode fiber and features a multiple quantum well laser in the transmitter section, which is compliant with the International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) and a limiting post-amplifier IC for signal detection. With a PECL logic interface, it is easy to interface the TRS232EI with external circuitry.
