Description

The LT1763CS8-1.8 PBF is a micropower, low noise, low dropout regulator, designed for use in battery-powered systems. It is capable of supplying 500mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 300mV. The quiescent current is only 30µA, making it an ideal choice for power-sensitive applications. The output noise is as low as 20µVRMS over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth, when an external 0.01µF bypass capacitor is added. The regulator is stable with output capacitors as low as 3.3µF, and small ceramic capacitors can be used without the series resistance required by other regulators. It also features internal protection circuitry including reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting, and reverse current protection.
