It implements the QSurround™ technology developed and licensed by QSound Labs, Inc. This technology processes Dolby Digital (AC-3) and Dolby Surround audio signals to produce enhanced virtual 3D sounds, even for 2-speaker systems.

- 4.5 to 5.5V digital supply
- 48-pin QFP package
