Description
Model CY7C342B-15RI is an IC chip from the first-in first-out (FIFO) buffer memories family. It is available in five different options with memory sizes ranging from 256 to 4096 words by 9 bits wide, the CY7C342B-15RI model in particular has 2048 words by 9 bits wide. This FIFO memory chip has been organized to allow data reading in the same sequential order that it was written. With full and empty flags provided to prevent overrun and underrun. Additionally, the device comes with three extra pins that facilitate unlimited expansion in width, depth, or both.
