Description
The R5423N115C-TR is a protection IC for over-charge/discharge of rechargeable one-cell Lithium-ion (Li+) batteries. It includes a short circuit protector to prevent large external short circuit currents. The IC is composed of three voltage detectors, a reference unit, a delay circuit, a short circuit protector, and a logic circuit. It provides over-charge detection and can be reset when the VDD voltage decreases to a level lower than "VREL1". It is available in a small SOT-23-6 package.

- Low supply current: Typ. 3.0µA in standby mode (detecting over-discharge)
- High accuracy detector threshold: ±25mV (Topt=25°C) for over-charge detector
- Variety of detector threshold: Over-charge detector threshold range of 4.0V - 4.4V with step of 0.005V
- Built-in protection circuit: Excess current protection with accuracy of ±15%
- Output delay of over-charge: 75ms for R5421N111C
- Output delay of over-discharge: 10ms for R5421N111C/112CApplication Scenarios
