Description

The SP207ECA-L is an enhanced transceiver designed for RS-232 and V.28 serial communication. It is known for its very low power consumption and ability to operate with a single supply, making it perfect for space-constrained applications. With Exar-patented on-board charge pump circuitry, this device can generate fully compliant RS-232 voltage levels using small and inexpensive 0.µF charge pump capacitors, eliminating the need for external +2V and -2V supplies. The SP207ECA-L also features a low-power shutdown mode and two active receivers for signal monitoring even during shutdown.
