The EM83702BP is an electronic component model categorized as an IC chip. It is a Mouse Controller that is specially designed to control mouse devices. This single chip can interface three key-switches and four photo-couplers directly to RS-232C. One of the key features of the EM83702BP is that it does not require any external power supply, allowing the mouse to function without a power line. It is versatile and compatible with both Microsoft and mouse systems. The EM83702BP also includes a debouncing circuit to prevent false entries and improve accuracy. In Microsoft mode with 200 DPI wheels and photo-couplers, the scanning speed is 650 mm/sec without missing a dot, while in mouse system mode, the scanning speed can reach up to 770 mm/sec.
