Description
The J456 is an electronic component model in the IC Chips product category. It is part of the HCPL series, which includes the HCPL-4506, HCPL-0466, and HCNW4506. The J456 features an AlGaAs LED that is optically coupled to an integrated high gain photo detector. This optocoupler is designed to minimize propagation delay difference, making it an excellent solution for improving inverter efficiency through reduced switching dead time. In addition, it has an on-chip 20 kΩ output pull-up resistor that can be enabled for common IPM applications, eliminating the need for an external pull-up resistor. The J456 is UL Recognized and has a safety approval rating of -3750 V rms / 1 min.
