Description

The 3309W-1-105 is a trimmer potentiometer, specifically designed to regulate the output voltage in dioderectified alternator charging systems common to automotive applications. It provides either analog or digital fixed frequency duty cycle control of an alternator's field current. The 3309W-1-105 features Load Response Control (LRC) to eliminate engine speed hunting and vibrations caused by abrupt torque loading of the engine owing to sudden electrical loads being applied to the system at low engine RPM. It offers selectable LRC rates by connecting pins 7 and 8 to the ground. Available in Pb-Free packaging.
