The PTMA210402EL is a high-performance and low-cost media processor, known as the TriMedia™ TM-1300. It offers up to 66% more processing power compared to previous models, making it ideal for multimedia applications. With a 166-MHz CPU and enhanced on-chip I/O and coprocessing units, it can achieve up to 6.5 billion operations per second, perfect for real-time processing of video, audio, graphics, and communications datastreams.
Featuring a faster clock speed and main memory interface, the TM-1300 delivers improved performance. It also includes a new on-chip unit for handling audio output in Sony/Philips digital format (SPDIF). Additionally, its lower power consumption and smaller footprint make it an efficient and compact solution for multimedia designs.
