The SP207HET is a multi-channel RS-232 line transceiver designed for various communication needs. It is part of the Sipex SP200 Series and has been enhanced for high speed data transmission, supporting a data rate of over 460kbps. This makes it suitable for applications requiring data rates up to 230.4kbps, such as V.34. The transceiver features on-board charge pump capacitors of 0.1µF, which not only save board space but also reduce circuit cost. Additionally, the SP207HET has a low-power shutdown mode, consuming only 1µA of power. It also includes a WakeUp function to keep the receivers active in the shutdown mode (available in specific variants).
