Description
The RT9172-25CG is a low-dropout linear regulator from the RT9172 series. It operates from a +2.25V to +6.0V input supply and offers a wide range of preset output voltage options. This regulator is specifically designed for low voltage microprocessor applications and responds very quickly to load changes. It features an internal PMOS as the pass device, which eliminates extra ground current in heavy load and dropout conditions. The RT9172-25CG also has a low operation current shutdown mode, making it suitable for power-saving systems. Additional features include current limiting and over temperature protection.
