The TJ3966R-ADJ is a third generation single-chip highly integrated digital music system solution for audio players. It includes an audio decoder with embedded RAM and ROM, ADPCM record capabilities, and USB interface. The chip also provides interfaces to SPDIF, flash memory, LED/LCD, buttons and switches, headphones, microphone, and FM radio. It supports WMA and other digital audio standards, and can act as a USB mass storage slave device. The low power consumption of the chip allows for long battery life, and it includes a DC-DC converter that supports various battery configurations. The built-in Sigma-Delta D/A includes a headphone driver for low impedance headphones. It also includes inputs for microphone and analog audio for voice recording and FM radio integration. The TJ3966R-ADJ is an all-in-one solution designed for highly optimized digital audio players.
