The SC79202FB is a 2.4 Gb/s laser diode driver designed for electronic components in the IC Chips category. With a single 5V supply, it allows direct access to the laser modulation and bias FET's. The laser bias and modulation currents can be precisely monitored and set using external components. This model is suitable for high-speed applications, with rise times of less than 100ps and support for up to 2.4Gb/s NRZ data. It offers both single-ended and differential input operation, and is powered by a single power supply. It also provides data density outputs for adjusting laser bias in unbalanced data scenarios.
