Renesas R8A20422BG is a ternary CAM search engine specifically designed for network packet classifying. It features a full-custom CAM memory that offers large capacity, high density, and low power consumption.
The MARIE_Blade model can achieve up to 133 Msps in 72-bit/144-bit normal mode (with parallel search reaching 266 Msps), 66.5 Msps in 288-bit mode (with parallel search reaching 133 Msps), and 33 Msps in 576-bit mode (with parallel search reaching 66.5 Msps). The hierarchical search reduces power consumption, and the extended bit DX test logic enables a DX test logic search (primary search) followed by a DQ array search (secondary search) through the DQ pin. Additionally, the DQ array contains a parity bit to check for errors.
