The M65851FP is an integrated circuit (IC) that is specially designed for Karaoke systems and other audio systems. This IC has multiple peripheral functions, including vocal cut, phase shifter, equalizer, detection of intervals between songs, digital surround, and Karaoke scoring. It is capable of composing echo and key control circuits necessary for Karaoke system with a single chip. It is suitable for use in dedicated Karaoke units, radio cassette tape recorders, TV, VCR, and miniature unit audio systems with Karaoke function. The echo circuit can support digital surround by adopting 16Kbit RAM built-in digital delay. The clock built-in current-control oscillation circuit keeps clock effects inside the clock, which avoids the generation of unnecessary radiation.
